Black Friday Deals in Manassas

Stores opening earlier than ever before; find out where the good deals are in Manassas

When the term Black Friday originated in Philadelphia back in the 60s who would have thought that 40 years later over 150 million people would be packing stores nationwide in search of the hottest deals for their holiday shopping.

Once used to describe the large amounts of pedestrian and vehicle traffic the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday is now known as the 'busiest shopping day of the year' and has even spawned other names for sales on following days like, 'Small Business Saturday', 'Cyber Monday' and 'Green Tuesday.'

During the past decade retailers have been opening their doors at the crack of dawn to hungry shoppers but it's the last few years where Black Friday has taken on a life of it's own. Now opening up at 4 am is a mere memory, stores this year will be opening up at midnight and some as early as 9 pm on Thanksgiving.
