Eagle Festival at Mason Neck State Park

Park admission and all events are free for the best Eagle Festival yet, at the park that finished second in Coca Cola's 2013 nationwide favorite park contest!

Reptiles Alive, the most popular show, is being expanded to 45 Minutes, and a larger tent has been obtained to accommodate the audience. Show times are 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00.

Other show times under the big tent are:
Raptor Conservancy at 12:00 and 2:00
Under the Sea at 12:30 and 2:30

The Eagle Exploration Tent will have a 10:00 show about Mason Neck's Overlooked Wildlife, and will have eagle displays and talks throughout the day.

The Audubon Society will conduct a nature/bird walk at 10:00 and 2:00

Other ongoing events include:
Displays by various organizations
Music by the Anthony James Band
Food and drinks by the Mason Neck Lions Club
Pony rides and hay rides
Archery by the Fish and Wildlife Service
Mr. Jones and his suitcase.

Last, but not least,  at 11:45 Congressman Jim Moran will receive the Conservationist of the Year Award from the Mason Neck Citizens Association.
