Remembering Momo
Hundreds gathered at Cougar Stadium this weekend to remember a 15-year-old Manassas Park High School student who died in a Hurricane Irene-related car crash in North Carolina on Aug. 27.
Manassas Park and residents and students quoted passages from the Bible and remembered Katherine Morales as a team player and Christian during a Candlelight vigil held Saturday at sundown at Cougar Stadium.
15-year-old Morales died Aug. 27 in Goldsboro, N.C. of injuries she suffered in a crash linked to Hurricane Irene.
