Parade of Lights This Weekend in Manassas Park
Go out this weekend and see the Parade of Lights, the little city's unique version of the annual Christmas parade.
This year's Parade of Lights starts its procession down Manassas Drive in Manassas Park Saturday at dusk.
It all begins at General Ridge's Golf Course at 5:45 p.m., proceeds down Manassas Drive and ends at 7 p.m. at the Manassas Park Police Department.
City Council members, school board members, city staff and their families participate in the event by riding in cars or walking the parade route while throwing candy to spectators along the route.
