Manassas Park Man Netted in Prostitution Investigation

The arrests happened at the Best Western Hotel just inside Manassas city limits.

A Manassas Park man and three other people were arrested in connection with suspected prostitution activity at a hotel room just outside of Manassas Park, Manassas City Police said.

Authorities said they received complaints about different people coming in and staying a short while before leaving a room at the Best Western Hotel on Mathis Avenue located just inside of the Manassas city limits.

The frequent traffic began around 10 p.m. on July 2 and was still going on when the compliant was filed at 1 p.m. the next day, Manassas Police reports show.

Manassas Police, with help from the Prince William County Police Street Crimes K-9 unit, set up a surveillance operation that led to the arrest of the following people:
An underage boy, the 38-year-old Manassas Park resident and two Hyattsville, Md. women ages 22 and 38. 

All were issued Virginia summonses, released and ordered to appear in court on Aug. 13.
