Harry Horning, II, Joins Harry H. Horning Financial Services
MANASSAS, Va, Feb. 10, 2014—Harry H. Horning Financial Services is pleased to announce that Harry Horning, II, has joined the firm as a licensed financial advisor. Horning II was most recently a Marine aviator in the U.S. Marine Corps. Founded in 1977, Harry H. Horning Financial Services is a full service financial firm based out of Manassas, Va.

From 2003 to 2013 Horning II honorably served on active duty as a leader of Marines. During that span, he flew over 1,700 hours and deployed on three combat tours to Iraq. In 2010 he was hand-picked to become the first Marine Air Ground Task Force Electronic Warfare Program Manager, located at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland. During this assignment Horning II meticulously managed a budget of more than $40 million for the Electronic Warfare Program. He has been awarded the Strike/Flight Air Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. He presently maintains a commission as a Major in the U.S. Marine Corps Individual Ready Reserve.

Horning II earned a B.S. degree in finance from Virginia Tech in 2002 and an M.B.A. from the Florida Institute of Technology Nathan M. Bisk College of Business in 2013. Additionally, Horning II is a Registered Investment Advisor with SagePoint Financial, Inc. and holds a Series 7 General Securities Representative and Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law qualification.
