Second Weekly Newspaper to Launch in Prince William

Prince William Times will launch Jan. 9.

A second local media outlet has announced their intention to publish a weekly print newspaper in Prince William County.

Times Community Media, which operates newspapers throughout Northern Virginia, will launch the first issue of Prince William Times on Jan. 9. The paper will be delivered to some homes by carrier. Residents may also pay for a subscription to have the paper delivered to their homes. The paper's circulation will be about 10,000 issues.

Times Community Media is the second organization to announce its intent to launch a weekly print newspaper in Prince William after the demise of the News & Messenger. Northern Virginia Media Services will also start a new newspaper, Prince William Today, and has purchased the News & Messenger's insidenova.com website and Facebook page.
