You may want to know how area restaurants performed in their last Virginia Department of Health inspection.
Restaurants in the Commonwealth are inspected between one and four times a year. There are two types of violations: Critical and non-critical. What's the difference? Critical violations, unless corrected, can contribute to "food contamination, illness or environmental degradation," according to the state health department.
"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
The site continues: "Keep in mind that any inspection report is a 'snapshot' of the day and time of the inspection. On any given day, a restaurant could have fewer or more violations than noted in the report. An inspection conducted on any given day may not be representative of the overall, long-term cleanliness of an establishment."American Legion Post 364 3640 Friendly Post Lane 29-Jan-2013 0 BJ.'s Wholesale Club #41 14123 Noblewood Plaza 29-Jan-2013 0 Caton Merchant House 9201 Portner Ave 29-Jan-2013 0 Comfort Inn 16931 Old Stage Rd 29-Jan-2013 0 Domino's Pizza #4350 338 Potomac Ave 29-Jan-2013 1 Hampton Inn 16959 Old Stage Rd 29-Jan-2013 0 Lagniappe on the Bayou 12635 Galveston Court 29-Jan-2013 0 Simply Sweet on Main 9360 Main St 29-Jan-2013 0 Popeye's Restaurant 14400 Jefferson Davis Hwy 28-Jan-2013 0 Artistry Cafe 6901 Sudley Road 28-Jan-2013 8 Dunkin Donuts / Baskin Robbins 8525 Rolling Rd 28-Jan-2013 0 Joe's Pizza 14505-15 Jefferson Davis Hwy 28-Jan-2013 0 Minnieland Private Day Care 1511 Old Bridge Rd 28-Jan-2013 1 Tuscani Italian Grill 9987 Sowder Village Sq 28-Jan-2013 4 Cajun Cafe & Grill 2700 Potomac Mills Circle #449 25-Jan-2013 1 Casa Blanca Restaurant 7911 Centreville Rd 25-Jan-2013 0 New China 5528 Staples Mill Plaza 25-Jan-2013 0 Sabrina's Pollo 2700 Potomac Mill Circle #437 25-Jan-2013 1 Wendy's # 43 8989 Centreville Rd 25-Jan-2013 0
