Manassas Park's electricity provider also provides Christmas tree disposal. The company will turn the trees into wood chip mulch and give it to its customers for free.

Wondering where to discard your live Christmas tree, now that the holidays are over?

Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) is accepting cut Christmas trees, wreaths and other greens at its Gainesville office, located at 5399 Wellington Branch Drive, near the intersection of Route 29 and Interstate 66.

Customers can leave the greenery in the front parking lot in the area lined with orange cones until Jan. 11.
