Manassas Park Paranormal Company Hosts Ghost Hunt, Radio Talk Show

Manassas Park resident Suzanne Sorrell opened Evermore Paranormal in 2011.

A homegrown Manassas Park business is delving into the world of radio talk shows in October, the most "paranormal" time of year.

Evermore Paranormal, owned by paranormal investigator Suzanne Sorrell, is part of the new talk show "ParaNation" that will air from 9 to 10:30 p.m. on blogtalkradio.com beginning in October.

Sorrell said she will mainly be working behind the scenes while Alex Matsuo, who works on another national paranormal show, will host, interview celebrity guests and take questions from callers. A toll free number will be provided.

Ghost and monster hunters who don't want to wait until the show debuts in October are getting a dose of paranormal activity on Saturday at the Evermore Paranormal Summer Ghost Hunt at the Manassas Park Community Center. The community center is a very haunted place, she said, mainly because of the people who once lived on the grounds where the community center now stands.

"There isn't a place there that hasn't had (paranormal) activity," said Sorrell, who has conducted several ghosts hunts at the center.

She also has the testimony of community center employees who say they have heard unidentified voices and witnessed objects, like doors, move by themselves, Sorrell said.

Tickets sales for Saturday's event have ended, but Sorrell hopes to host an adult seminar on the paranormal at the Bull Run Regional Library in October.
