Flu Shots Available at Giant Near Manassas Park

Giant Food Stores are offering flu vaccinations at all of its pharmacies, just in time for the beginning of the school year.

Customers can walk in anytime without an appointment during pharmacy hours and get flu shots, according to a release issued by the Landover, Md.-based company.

The closest Giant to Manassas Park is located at 9540 Liberia Ave. in Manassas, near the intersection of Centreville Road.

Shots cost $30 and most major insurance plans along with Medicare are accepted at the stores. Giant has also partnered with various health-related vendors to offer a free coupon book worth more than $30 in savings to customers who get their shots.

 “We’ve long been committed to supporting the health and wellness of our customers, and our stores serving as convenient locations across the Mid-Atlantic region for people to get a flu shot exemplifies that commitment. Giant is proud to offer seasonal flu shots at all 159 of our in-store pharmacies in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.,” said Gayle Shields, director of Pharmacy Operations at Giant, in a news release. “Flu shots are reformulated every year, so it’s important people are vaccinated on an annual basis.”  

Giant representatives said its pharmacies and health departments are well-stocked to handle flu-related prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.
