Show Everyone Your Spring Garden and Lawn!

Send me pictures of your lawn and garden, in all its spring glory.

I hear you, Manassas Park. That is, I hear the sounds of your lawn mowers, your weed whackers and your garden sheers as they cut, trim and whip your lawn into shape after the long—ok, fine—the short, practically non-existent winter.

There’s your garden variety (pun intended) residents who are probably cranking up their lawn mowers this week for the first time this year.  And then there are those dedicated, certified green thumb-ers who have worked for months to keep their yards and gardens luscious year around.

Whether your yard is a labor of love or just plain labor, we want to see it.

Send pictures of your lawn or, if yours is a wasteland, your neighbors' admiral lawn to jamie.rogers@patch.com.  You can also upload the pictures directly on Patch by clicking the “post pics and clips” button under, “What up with you?” on the homepage.

So go ahead, show your neighbors why it's called Blooms Crossing. Show us that the outside of your Cape Cod actually looks like something that belongs on Cape Cod.  And just because your neighborhood is called Brandy Station or Belmont Station, the yards don’t have to look like they are constantly being ran over by a freight train.

Folks with no yards of their own— White Pines, City Center, Haverhill, The Reserve and Manassas Park Station residents—can even send in pictures of the work done by the extraordinary landscaping crews.
