Hand Dancing One of Many Saturday Shows at NVCC in August

The hand dancing show is tonight at 7:30 on the Northern Virginia Community College Manassas campus.

Go international this month in Manassas with a series of performances at the Mary Louise Jackson Amphitheater in Manassas. 

Several international dancing and music performances will be held each Saturday at the amphitheater located on the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College at 6901 Sudley Rd. 

Tonight, Dance In Time Productions presents “Hand Dancing: A DC Original” performance at 7:30 p.m. The venue opens at 7 p.m. for seating. 

Here's what's planned for the next few weeks: On Aug. 17,  Marsha Bonet & Dancers will perform  “Latin Dance around the World."  On Aug. 24 Tinkus Cochabamba & Muyu Muyu’s will perform “Bolivia’s Dance Traditions." 

Admission is free for students, faculty and staff who present photo identification. 
Adults pay $5, those 55 and older pay $3 and children ages 5 to 11 are just $1.
