Pet of the Week: Sparky the Cat

Sparky is waiting to be adopted at the Prince William County Animal Shelter. Could he sparkle in your home?

I have been visiting the Prince William County Animal Shelter for a few weeks now.  I really enjoy my time here because the animals are all so sweet and loving. Each pet deserves a nice warm home to call their own. I feel so much joy when I come back the following week and see that so many of these precious souls have been adopted.

But I suppose a certain fluffy sweetheart has been overlooked for he has been at the shelter for quite some time now. I hope someone will notice just how wonderful he is.  As much as I love seeing him, I hope next week when I visit, he will not be there.

Sparky is the absolute fluffiest cat I have ever seen. And possibly the sweetest. A furrball full of personality and love, it’s a wonder to me why he has not yet been adopted! He has a handsome orange colored coat and a cute little face surrounded by a mane of fur. His soft coat could use some tender loving care but whose hair doesn’t need a little upkeep now and then? Sparky is a shelter staff favorite and it’s easy to see why. He is so lovable and oh so soft!

Sparky was found wandering the streets of Dale City. Therefore, he does not come with a lot of information. He is a neutered, adult cat and appears to be healthy.  Sparky is ready to move into his forever home. Could it be yours?

A large amount of adult cats are euthanized each year. This is because they are usually overlooked and not considered for adoption nearly as often as kittens. The older the cat, the greater its danger. When searching for a cat to bring into your family, kindly consider adopting an adult cat. You will be saving a life.
