It wasn't the contests in Sochi that were getting all the attention in Manassas last week. It was the Diaper Derby at Manassas Mall.
Sponsored by WMZQ, 98.7 FM, the contest was for crawling babies with an eye on a $1,000 prize. Actually, they were put on one end of a mat and left to their own devices to get to the other side.
One-year-old Austin Edwards was the big winner.
