Blog of the Day: Suicide Prevention

There's still a stigma surrounding mental illnesses and their assoication with suicide, but there is a group in the Washington DC metro area with the goal of increasing awareness.

The National Capital Area Chapter of American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) serves this area and is part of the nation’s leading organization bringing together people across communities and backgrounds to understand and prevent suicide, and to help heal the pain it causes.
