The annual Cougar Elementary Holiday shop is set to run this year from December 10th - December 14th. This event occurs during the school day and provides Cougar Elementary School students an opportunity to shop for family and friends in a child friendly environment. Manassas Park Elementary students have an opportunity to shop on Monday the 10th from 3-8 pm.
Volunteers are needed to walk the students through the shop and help them choose gifts according to the lists that the parents have made at home. A recommended amount to send with the children is $3 - $5 per person that the children wish to shop for.
Due to a severe shortage of volunteers the shopping experience may be hindered this year. If you can help please email Jennifer Newfield at Jenncougarpto@hotmail.com.
We would hate for the children to miss out on shopping because no one can help. Volunteers will need to present a valid photo ID at the school to be able to volunteer.
