Meet Lovely Lilly

Hey there, my name is Lilly. Aren't I gorgeous?  I have the most amazing, silky, flowing coat and beautiful smile. I look like a mini golden retriever, and Mutts Matter thinks I may be a long-haired dachshund/golden retriever mix.

I'm approximately three years old, weigh 35 pounds, and am more of a laid-back soul. I’m a very sweet, gentle dog who will make someone a loving and loyal companion. I'm well-behaved in the house, fully housebroken, crate-trained, rarely bark, and even with this luxurious coat, I barely shed. I would do well in either a home or a condo, as long as I get my daily walks to keep me healthy and fit. I'm the full package.

I lucked out and got a great foster family who really loves and cares about my welfare. My foster mom calls me a snuggler, and knows that I love to be petted while I lay by her side. I'm very fond of her and her nine-year-old son too. There are two younger kids in the family (four and six years old) that I'm a little timid around, so right now I’m staying down the street with grandma and grandpa. I’m getting all kinds of special treatment and attention here, and my nine-year old buddy still comes by and walks me every day.  It’s the best of both worlds!

My favorite thing to do is to hang out with my person, go on car rides, and see the world. My foster mom has been taking me everywhere she goes and I love it. Even though I'm a little shy at first, I really like people and their affection, and am a social pup who gets along well with other dogs too.  I just don’t like the commotion and noise that comes with young kids, but older kids are fine.

I'm the kind of dog who will stick to my person like glue, and really want to be part of a nurturing family and a calm, steady home. I'm a sweetheart and look forward to meeting you.

She is quite lovely. Would make a fine companion for my Brulee. Wish I could have them both!

How's Brulee settling in Jamie? Is he used to being a "city" dog now?
