Water Main Break Near Rt. 28, VA 234 Causes Traffic Delays in Manassas
The water main break is causing traffic delays heading into rush hour.
A water main break in Manassas near Route 28 just south of the VA 234 exchange is causing traffic problems in the area, Manassas City Communications Coordinator Patty Prince said.
The break, which happened at 10 a.m., is near the exchange of the two main throughways and Residency Road, she added.
Traffic is down to one lane in each direction and motorists are advised to avoid the area, especially during rush hour.
City crews hope to have the break repaired later this evening.
