A man who shed his shorts and went for a dip at Signal Bay Waterpark returned to his poolside chair to find his shorts and other belongings missing, Manassas Park Police said.

It happened July 11 between 6:30 and 8:43 p.m.

The victim told police he'd left the shorts containing his Verizon iPhone, wallet and keys on a lounge chair while he went for a swim. 

When he came back, everything was gone, police reports show.

The area was searched but nothing was found. The missing items are worth about $470, police said.

Officers gave the man advice on contacting the credit card companies and changing the locks on his doors.

No arrests have been made.
