U.S. Senate candidate and former Gov. Tim Kaine visited GridPoint's headquarters in Clarendon on Thursday as part of a statewide tour to promote his energy plan.

United States Senate candidate Tim Kaine will be in Manassas at 3 p.m. Thursday talking to community leaders, business owners, employees and residents about ways to strengthen the economy, Michael Kelly, a Kaine campaign spokesman said.
Former Virginia governor Kaine, a Democrat running against former Virgina governor George Allen a Republican, will tour Old Town Manassas and its businesses.
The tour will begin at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Foster's Grille at 9417 West St. in Manassas.
