Manassas Park Police are investigating an apparent random act of violence after two suspects jumped out of a vehicle and began beating two men who were walking down the street.
It happened on June 27 at 4:15 p.m. when a 2011 silver BMW coupe pulled alongside two men walking on Manassas Drive.
Two suspects jumped out of the car and began punching and beating the two victims while the driver waited, Manassas Park Police reports show.
The two men then got back into the car and fled the scene.
EMS arrived on the scene and assisted the victims, who apparently suffered no serious injuries.
The victims told police they have no idea who their attackers were or why they are targeted.
One of the suspects is described as a black teen boy with "dirty" dreadlocks last seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts
The second suspect is also a black teen male wearing a blue shirt. The witnesses didn't know what color shorts he was wearing.
The BMW was last seen leaving the scene on Manassas Drive just East of Carondelet Drive.
Though several witnesses have come forward to assist police, no arrests have been made.
Anyone with any information in connection with the attack is asked to call the Manassas Park Police Department.

Would like to have an update on this. Very frightening for those of us living on Carondelet.
