Petco Coming to Davis Ford Crossing
Large pet supply store moving in by the end of the year, providing second nearby location for Manassas Park customers.
Petco is expanding in Manassas, with a second store expected to open just off the Prince William County Parkway later this year.
The pet supply store has rented 10,000 sq. ft. in a corner of the Davis Ford Crossing shopping center, said Sheryl Simeck, spokesperson for leasing firm The Rappaport Companies.
Petco's current Manassas site is off Sudley Road near Interstate 66, so the new site will likely be more convenient for some Manassas Park residents.
Expected to open by the end of the year, the new store will consolidate several smaller units in the nearly-full shopping center.
L.A. Fitness is expected to fill one of the other larger units.
Petco will be a short walk from boutique pet shop Pet Valu that opened last Fall at Hastings Marketplace.

Oh how I wish the L.A. Fitness had been a Kohls! It was rumored to be so. Gracious we now have three fitness centers within a mile or even half mile of each other.

Where is the L.A. Fitness going? I remember seeing a sign, but I absolutely can't remember where I saw it. (I hate when that happens.) Yes three fitness centers in close proximity and I'm still overweight! What am I to do, my dear Kris?! lol.

LOL, Jamie! Is it time for us to start pole dancing lessons? Gahds! The mere thought - I'd brake my head on the floor! L.A. Fitness is going in at Davis Ford Crossing (where the new Petco will be - Staples, CVS, Primo Pizza is there too). I hope the area can support the new businesses... there does seem to be a lot of townhome construction nearby.
