Investigators with the Prince William Police Gang Unit and the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task team recently wrapped up an investigation into drug distribution in the area.

On Aug. 7 investigators searched a home on Arkansas Court in Woodbridge and discovered marijuana and packaging material.

Edward Stephen Dellacqua, 24, who lived at the home that was searched, is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, Prince William County Police reports show. 

Officers didn't immediately announced the arrest or the search because they didn't want to interfere with the ongoing investigation, according to a press release from Prince William County. 

Dellacqua will appear in court in October on his charges.
