The Manassas City Police Department will offer a free 10-week course starting in November that will teach senior citizens how defend themselves from attacks. 

The class, called Resisting Aggression Defensively (R.A.D.), breaks a 15-hour curriculum into 10 classes. Instructors will teach methods of self defense that are tailored to participants' abilities and needs. The program will also offer presentations on topics such as financial scams, online dating and home security.
