Good to hear that there is a 2hr delay. MP has always made sure all of the cities road are passable. I want to thank the MP snow removal team on a job well done.

They need to make the decision earlier, not at 6 am. A lot if parents drop children off at daycare or extended care at 6 if they haven't heard anything as that is when most centers open, myself included. This morning the call came at 6 and left parents running around having to make other plans while most could tell at by 5 school should have been delayed,

MP is notorious for doing that. Maybe someone needs to get up earlier to make the call.

I think they spend the early morning hours accessing the roadways and such.

Public Works was at it again. They salted the roads, even though it was only 21 degrees at 5am. (Salt isn't effective when its that cold.) Then they plowed the road, even though there was less than an inch of snow. I'm hope they enjoyed the OT. I appreciate the effort, but let's be practical. The city is still in a financial crisis.
