Manassas Park Mosaic Program Directory Now Available
The Mosaic is published by the Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation and details all of the agencies programs.
The 2012-2012 Fall and Winter issue of the Mosaic, the guide to all things fun, educational and helpful in Manassas Park, is now availble.
The magzaine provides detail information about preschool such as 4’s and 5’s Preschool or 3 Bears Preschool, as well as new children's programs such as Lunch Bunch, Beginning Chefs, Dance classes, Tumbling, Pre-lympics and more.
The Mosaic highlights, “To Do List” Tuesday where parents can knock out their “to do list” while their children are supervised and having fun.
School aged children ages 6-12, can have fun and make friends in the Extended Care programs at the Manassas Park Community Center.
The extended care programs are before and/or after-school licensed day care programs through the State of Virginia and the Virginia Department of Social Services. Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation also has programs such as beginner guitar lessons, scrabble club, chess club, biddy ball and indoor soccer
There's also the Teen Passport, for only $20 each month which offers full access to the parks and recs Teen Center, pool, wellness center and gym.
Teen programs consist of volleyball league, Ppoetry class, tutoring, cooking class, babysitter training, open mic and more.
The Mosaic outlines classes for adults such as computer classes, beginning sign language, salsa lessons, culinary classes and athletic programs.
Older adults can consult the Mosaic for information about the news senior passport that's just $30 a year. People 65 years of age or older can get a senior passport. Membership includes access to the facility as well as all senior programs for no additional fee. Programs include table tennis, senior socials, book club and "morning mochas" meetups.
