William Monroe High School (13-2) of Stanardsville, Va beat the Manassas Park High Cougars on their own turf on Friday.

It was the second time this year the two schools met for competition on the basketball court. William Monroe defeated Manassas Park 61-47 on Dec. 13 down in Standardsville.

The final score was 79-52. Manassas Park (8-4) will have a chance to redeem themselves Wednesday when they play Strasburg High School at home.
