'Farm Team' Endorses Jeanette Rishell for City Council

Manassas Park City Council candidate Jeanette Rishell also claims endorsements from other politicians in Prince William County.

The Farm Team, a group dedicated to the development of Virginia women for political leadership roles that support democratic values, announced its endorsement of Jeanette Rishell for Manassas Park City Council this month.

Rishell announced in June she would seek one of the three council seats up for grabs in November.

Manassas Park holds at-large elections for half of its city council in alternating years.

Vice Mayor Bryan Polk, former mayor and current Councilman William "Bill" Treuting and Councilman Keith Miller, have each said they will seek re-election.

Mayor Frank Jones is running unopposed for his position.

Rishell also said she has, through telephone conversations, received the endorsements of Prince William County Supervisor John Jenkins and Prince William County Commonwealth Attorney Paul Ebert.
