Police: Robber Stole Necklace From Pedestrian

The 56-year-old victim reported that a stranger robbed him near Hiram Court and Notre Dame Street in Manassas.

 

Police are looking for a robber who stole a necklace from a 56-year-old man in the area near Hiram Court and Notre Dame Street in Manassas on Sept. 26. 

The victim reported to police that he was walking in the area around 4:30 p.m. when a stranger approached him. The robber stole the necklace, assaulted the victim, and fled on foot. No injuries were reported, police said. 

Police are on the lookout for a six-feet-tall black male between 18 and 20 years old, about 150 pounds, with a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and pants.
